Just bought Canon Eos 750D and want to find out what the shot count is.
How can i do that?

Tryed EOScount.com but doesnt pick up.

i dont understand why does it not work, even got the IE tab to work with eoscount.com and still nothing. Now downloaded EOSinfo and only get No camera connected...

But PC detects camera Canon EOS 750D and can copy pictures ect.

Does the 750d have wifi? If so switch it off. I did that on my 6d and it worked

Yes its off, as when on it wont connect to PC via USB.
First image recorded on it was 0108.jpg , can i assume its taken just 107 shots before? (memory card not used for photographs before)

If all else fails you could try Magiclantern, it will show you all sorts of info, just stick it on a spare card,.

The whole shutter count thing is such a bull. A) you can't do it with most cameras and only canon could, but normally won't tell you B) it is not even relevant as the camera may live for 1000 uses or 1,000,000 - it is all a chance. General condition and cleanliness is far more important C) lots of people don't think beyond quoting a file number which is a 4 digit number, meaning their shutter count is like brand new camera - and that doesn't make any sense. Just forget about it. All of you.

I have to admit its in excellent condition , no marks, no scratches, no fingerprints on lens ect, got it from Cex for just £367.50 (bought cex vouchers), with kit lens 18-55. Guess ill just be happy with new camera and use it (read learn to take better pictures) :D
