Yes
I have Kuso Exif Viewer and want to check my cameras shutter actions.
Is the shutter actions under the section that says Application record and then the number is 25154 ?.
Thanks.

I've read that you can only get the actuation count yourself on the 1d mk2 series. The mk3 and other models only canon themselves can do it.

When i got a program to get it off my mk2 it said the mk3 was incompatible.

You run the program and then guide the browser box to an original raw or .jpg file that has the full exif intact still

Try it with just a small jpeg. That's all that worked for me.

There's a link and how to in this thread.

Just tried it that way on mine out of interest and it doesn't have that section either. strange

You don't see this?

Hmm yeh i do. Was looking for the actual numbers in the left column that was quoted on that fredmiranda page

Mine is not the same as yours CT some look the same but it has not got all the unknown.
Yours has a lot more info then the one i have.

This shutter count software has always been a bit dodgy, varying from one camera to another.

With Exif Reader you have to go up to 'Information' and click. From the drop-down menu make sure that 'Show All' is selected, which should then show all the 'unknown' data.

I do have show all switched on, but it only shows half of what yours shows.
None of what you posted up is even on my version.

Bummer. My version is Version 3.00

Papa I'll PM you my email addy - send me a jpeg preferably straight from the CF card. Worth a try?
