I've just won a cheap SB-24 flash on eBay [primarily to use on my Nikon film kit] and I'm wondering how I might add it to my existing flash with my 450D for more OCF flexibility.

I've got a 430EXII and an RF-602 trigger and receiver so far to allow a single flash to be used off camera. Is it simply a matter of buying another receiver unit, and if so, should it be a Canon or Nikon variety to be compatible with the flash and trigger?

Can someone point me in the right direction, thanks.

All you need is another RF-602 Receiver
You can have a number of these all firing from the single trigger
I'd recommend getting another couple of receivers and if you do any commercial work another trigger as a backup too

The RF-602 tx/rx are interchangeable but buy the trigger kit for your camera's make

I have a mix of Canon and Nikon flash units all firing without issue

Cheers Glenn, so any RF-602 receiver will do then. I'll got onto eBay and bag a couple.
