Anna,

I hate to be the one to whip the rug from under your feet, but I don't think it's what they are worth, more a cas of does anybody want them??

I know they mean a lot to you, but there is a surfeit of cameras, even more capable than yours, such as the Nikon F3, yes F3, and early EOS models, that are selling for just a few pounds. I've seen a Nikon F3 recently sell with motor drive for £100!!, and a Leica R5 for 200!! Both cameras I'd have given an arm and a leg for not so long ago.

The lenses also, will probably be difficult to sell.

I think, honestly, that your best bet will be to list everything as one item, and sell on Ebay or similar, as an outfit.

DSLRs have really killed the market for older SLRS, it's sad, but I suppose it was inevitable.

The only SLR's I've seen recently fetching good money, are the Nikon F4/5, and the EOS 1 series.

Anyway, good luck with your sale, and of course, your course:D

I may be interested in your films if you come up with a good price for them. Ilford film is about £2 a roll from 7 day shop as a guide.

best thing to do is sell them to some one at your college who is doing the course next year. To be honest this sort of stuff can be picked up anywhere very very cheap these days. The film will sell though.

Ditto. My old niko'canon/pentax gear meant a lot for me. When I saw what it went for on fleabay etc. I was shocked! Try selling to next year lot.

thats what im gonna do (student for this year) but ive got a person intreseted and she is thinking about it, so will have to wait and see.I might keep it just now anyway. It might be an old make of camera but it does its job well :)
