What's the best type of lamp to get if your doing night photography and illuminating buildings etc. I am going to give it a try as the nights get darker earlier so I've been looking at hand lamps. Can a light be too bright or produce too much light ? I have seen 3 at my local B & Q which are 1m, 2m and 3.5m candle power. Any suggestion as to which would be most suitable. Of course a main factor would be how far away from your subject you are going to be.
