Yes
Following on from the frozen film thread and also a comment by a certain someone about throwing away 300 rolls of film - it occured to me that none of you where shocked by the number "300" but just by the fact he had thrown it away lol

which got me thinking - how much film do you have at any one time approximately? are you all sacrificing freezer space...

I have about 15 rolls of PanF+ box of acros, box of provia, box of portra, box of fuji 160, few rolls of adox, rollei, fomapan and IR. Also there is another 5 rolls of misc film in my bag and 3 in my film backs

Thats just 120

Not sure about 35mm as i rarely shoot it these days, but i imagine there will be about 20 rolls

Not 100% sure tbh.....I have a freezer space "allocation" for my two fair sized tupperware boxes, both of which i know are bursting with film although i think most of it is 120 format.....need to get some shot!

Then of course I have my "ongoing" supply which is dotted about all over the place including the fridge!

Not many..Half a dozen 120 and a few 35mm..

Shame the guy who chucked the 300 didn't put them up for offer

I'm not sure exactly - but i've 2x2 gallon plastic ice-cream tubs (yes - 2 gallon, the ones that they have in the freezer for scooping from in a icecream van) in the freezer, both around 2/3s full one with colour and the other B&W. I think last year I worked out that at my current rate of shooting, I'll run out somewhere around my 138th birthday

(some of this stock is the remnants of stock my mate had, back when he ran his own minilab/photography shop/studio - when it all folded, he pitched up with 2 bin-liners full of "press packs" of 35mm the night before the recievers came to lock up the stock. At the time I worked at a Icecream Manufacturer, so I had access to plenty of refrigerators/freezers :))

Don't throw them away Mark

Not sure.. but I'd guess at about 40-50 rolls of 120 (Portra 400, Ektar, Pro400H) and perhaps a dozen rolls of 135 (mostly cheap stuff).

Plus a couple of packs of FP-100C and my last pack of FP-3000B in the cupboard (won't freeze, must get some more).

LOL - beginning to make sense why you guys werent shocked by the number - i only have 2 rolls of neopan 400, 3 rolls of fp4 , 5 rolls of poundland kodak color plus and 1 roll of apx100

I need to catch up!

Me and you both. If anyone has any spare, Mel and myself want a fridge full too ;)

Oooooops!!!!!

Just had a count up and discovered over 70 films in my fridge of various speeds, brands, and format!

Note to self.........

STOP BUYING.......for the moment! :D:D:D

In my defence, I wanted to try lots of different films and some was silly cheap so would have been rude not to!

Probably about a dozen. At my rate of shooting I won't run out until I'm 138 either...

Wondering whether to put it all in the freezer or just leave it at room temperature.

Well after shooting 8 rolls of 120 in the last month I only have 4 rolls left. Also about 12 rolls of 35mm.

I can see a visit to AG Photographic in my near future.....

I have about 150 sheets of colour, mostly E6 (Astia) with 20 sheets of Portra 160 and about the same of tungsten balanced E6. I've got maybe 50 sheets of B&W and the same of IR B&W

In 120 I think I have about 15 rolls of Astia left and a couple of 160S, not much left really

Too much! About 6 boxes of Velvia in 4x5, 50 sheets of 4x5 Tmax 100, 25 FP4, 25 Delta, 10 Ektar, 10 Portra and 20 Provia as well as miscellaneous Velvia 50 and Acros in 120 from when 7dayshop had their sale. Should keep me going for quite a while I think seeing as I have only just used up the first box of Provia I bought about a year ago.

I've probably got 30 to 40 films but I'm running down my stock of colour as I'm going to stick to B&W for a while.

I guess we have our own little stock piles now as it's often less easy and more expensive to get film locally.

Made a mistake, It now transpires I have 13 loaders. And an empty chest freezer. Cannot find the plastic film holders

Bearing in mind that I have just been over to your place this morning, Have you had a count up to see if you still have 70 films in your fridge ;)

our overeagercat has been given a couple of days to sit under his bridge and contemplate the error of his ways. Needless to say, we value all your RTM's, and thank you all for helping keep our forum goat-predator free :)

(and no - it wasn't me with the hammer!)

Not much... about 14 rolls of Neopan 1600, 3 rolls of Acros 100, two rolls of Portra 400 (120), 4 rolls of Velvia (120) and I think a roll of Tri-X and some cheap Fuji C41...

I've got about 10 rolls of various B&W, and 5 rolls of some expired superia 400.

I always tend to buy more before shooting though (backwards thinking at it's best) haha

I've got 10 or so rolls of agfaphoto vista 200, 4 or 5 rolls of kodak cheapie 200, one roll of fujichrome sensia slide film and one roll of hp5

20 rolls of fuji on ebay for £25...

In fridge 9 rolls Neopan 1600,15 rolls Efke IR820, 25 Tri-x.
one brick Agfa 100, eight FP4, two CH25 all 35mm. Efke IR820 a few !
Twenty of Tri-x in 120.
On way in post, after last weeks disastrous announcements of Efke finishing films and paper ten bricks of Efke IR820.
As well as Kodaks, same with ten of Tri-X.
In future will have to get used to HP5 I suppose.
