Yes
At the moment it is 28 degrees, in out back garden in Runcorn. A bit too hot for me to sit outside, I will end up with a headache otherwise.
Liverpool is supposed to be the hottest place in the UK, or at least it is today.

We are going to watch TV in the bedroom, it is cooler in there, had the blinds closed all day. Far too hot to stay in the living room.

The thermometer on the shelf beside me says 21.2°C.

My weather station says 23degrees, but the sun has just gone behind the hill. It was 25 earlier. We just had dinner outside and have just come in as it’s getting a bit chilly.

Nearly 8pm and it is still pretty warm. We have got the fan on. Hope it is not going to be one of those clammy nights, making it uncomfortable to sleep.

I wonder if I should have posted this thread, in the Hot Topics section? Lol

I put the air con unit on in the bedroom, as it was 26 in there. Big glass windows that get the sun from 11am til it goes down, gets unbareable.
Its a respectable 18 right now, should drop to 16 or so by bedtime.

Not really sure. Cool enough to walk a few miles on the beach in shorts and sandals. Warm enough that it was nice to meet friends for some Tai Chi in a grassy bit with some shade.

Certainly hot enough for a beer in the garden when I got home.

Pretty chilly this morning, cool enough to put radiators on low.

My thermostat kicked in early hours too.
It was, 7oC here 1st thing, and thick cloud cover.
The clouds are breaking up now , and its set to hit around 20oC by mid day.
I'll take that (y)

21 degrees here in the Irish midlands, was 22 yesterday - pretty much a 'heat-wave' for Ireland :D

About 22-23 degree in Oxfordshire, both yesterday ahnd today. We did a longish, casual walk through the middle of the day, and it was warm enough to perspire in jeans and tee shirt, but not fierce.

18c here, odd little breeze, nice day for some gardening and then a run out in the car for a late late lunch.

21 at the highest today, that'll do.

22°C here in Central Scotland just now.

Hot enough to cause gridlock on the local roads ,not worth going anywhere I’m sandwiched in-between the two main roads into north wales , if I did go out I wouldn’t get anywhere so best not bother on a holiday weekend , I.e fri night it took the daughter a hour and a half to do six miles to get home

The car showed 69F this afternoon.

Never did understand this 0C stuff.

Somewhere around 20C, so not bad but a long way from being hot ...

I suppose it depends on what you're used to. I grew up in the UK but spent a lot if years in SA which is fully metric. I really struggle with F temperatures, gallons, yards, stones, pounds and all the rest of it now.

For example, why does the UK sell petrol in litres, but give distances in miles and fuel consumption in MPG?

80oF ( that's about 26oC in new money) in the shade, too hot out there for me now, the rest of the plants can damned well plant themselves (y)

You got the triffids then?

Only 20°C here today.

We have a south facing garden with a conservatory. Have seen temperatures of 55degrees in there. Too hot to even go in and through to open the external doors. We have to do that from the outside (or never close it in the summer)

It's not really hot here in east Cleveland today but it is humid.

A little cooler over her in Runcorn, a bit of a breeze blowing.

There's a cool breeze here too which makes me wonder how it can be both cool and humid  :$

That's a tad warm !
Mid 20's here again, but the long range forecast from the middle of the week, onward looks like
taking a downwards spiral, ( 15 / 16 oC ) with a yellow warning for flash floods Thurs.

Most likely a temperature inversion due to the high pressure area sitting stable over NW Europe with a Low pressure area moving south, a cold front preceding it. If I've remembered my Meteorology 101 from private pilot days correctly.

25°C here, now. It was 24° up at HayTor at lunch time when we stopped for an ice cream and to watch the pony foals.

I think a simpler explanation is that this is the UK, expect the weather to be changeable :D
