I've been looking at an intermittent aperture selection problem on my Pentax-A 50mm lenses (f1:2 and f1:17 versions).
They intermittently shut down to minimum or very near when shooting more open, say f8, when the lens is in auto mode when on my MZ-30.
How does the lens select the indicated (on the camera display) aperture? I can only think that it is via the single electrical connection on the mount.
One lens does it quite infrequently (1 in 20 ish) the other more frequently (1 in 10 ish).
Two lenses with issues or just the body?
