How do you undelete from a phone?

I can plug my phone into my PC and can browse it in file explorer. But if i run up my undelete software, Recuva and DMDE, i cant browse to the phone in their folder pickers.

its probably as it doesn't see the phone as a proper drive , it mounts it but as a service.
i have a similar thing if i want to change metadate on some of my music files my software doesn#t like doing it that way i have to copy the files off do the job and copy them back.
