Hi all,

I am after some suggestions for a little project to run as a side line. I am currently learning my way round people and portrait photography with off camera flash strobist style but I'd like something else to do. A project to stop me getting completely wrapped up and fed up with my strobist kit, and also because its not always possible for my to get my strobist bit out and use them, ie no room, no willing models etc.

The trouble is, I have been lacking in creative enthusiasm and inspiration recently for a number of reasons so I want something to kick start me again if that makes sense?!

My kit is this, GX-10, 18-55 kit lens, 50-200 kit lens, pentax smc a 50mm f1.7, tripod, cokin P ND filters, fancier tripod.

Any ideas? just something to stir me up again really.....

Thanks,

Rob

I guess I am also wondering how people stir up their own inspiration when they feel it lacking?

The possibilities are endless it depends on what you like, if ever I am at a loose end I just grab the bag and wander out I will either head for the coast or just go for a wander and see where I end up.

There is always something out there, or limit your self to one subject to make you focus on it...

Thanks for your thoughts peeps.

Since origionally posting this I have been out for a wonder to try and stir up some creative juices.
The town I live in had a Christmas market/fairground on sunday so took a few shots then. Now they have a tree up and have finished the lights I think I am going to do a nightime project around town. There are also some fantastic shaped olde medieval buildings that I am going to try and capture creativly.

I do seem to struggle with the creative bit though, but I am sure time an practice is the answer!!
