How do you shoot indoor?

for sport its always high ISO and never flash

most sports are played on a pitch.. you can't light up the whole pitch with flash

best photos show players faces.. players dont want flash in there face while shooting.

very dificult to get a flash shot looking natural.

a sports picture doesnt have to be noise free.. in fact can be enhanced with noise for some..

Thanks for the reply, can you tell I'm getting obsessed about noise :)

too many people worry about upping there iso.. just up it.. over expose 1/3 if your going really high ...also try to fill the frame when using high iso. then resize.. then noise reduce.... will come out OK in the end :)

You dont need to... but normally your in very poorly lit places if you using high iso and over exposing shows up less noise.. getting the perfect exposure is the way to go ...but high iso that offers lots of noise can come out better slight over exposed.. try it... its for when high iso is so high you ahve lots of noise..if you ahve an old camera where iso 1600 offers lots of noise.. or a new camera where the top iso offers lots...

if your using high iso and getting good results then over expose no good.. its for when your in extremes and ...well what the OP is worried about :)
