How do you all use printing companies, such as Loxley, in conjunction with your services? I was overwhelmed with the choice of prints and products when I was looking on the Loxley website, and yet most Photographers only seem to advertise a few options for albums, frame etc.

Linking customers to the Loxley page to choose would seem to be counterproductive (you could lose business with them ordering directly from Loxley?).

Loxley are trying to cater for all tastes, styles and price points.

You need to select from what they offer those products which you would like to offer YOUR CUSTOMERS for YOUR STYLE of work and at YOUR PRICE points.

In practice that might be 2 different album styles at 2-3 sizes (for weddings) or 2 styles and 2 sizes for portrait books, and maybe 2-3 different types of framing/wall display products at different sizes (desk, small wall, medium wall, large wall).

Get some samples (their champion product sizes are ideal), then you can show those to customers you see, and photograph them and add them to your website, or marketing materials for those who you don't see face to face initially.

I'd never send a customer to a manufacturers website, especially if they deal with the public as well, nor would I offer their complete range, or call my products the same as the manufacturers "brand name".
