How do you protect you prints?

I am trying to figure out a way to store my prints and also how to deliver them to others. I bought a portfolio book and thought I would just stick them in there but the book is not made for multiple prints to be stored in the same page and I didn't realize how I would end up with multiple prints of the same shot. The other issue I need to resolve is how to deliver shots to people. I need something inexpensive that I can put the print in to protect it from finger prints and give it away with the print. I'm taking multiple prints to my friend tomorrow and have no idea how to do the hand-off because we are not meeting at his house so he will need to carry them.

Thanks for your help. Hopefully I will get this figured out by the morning.

Contact a photographic supplies company & see if they have something suitable for what you want.

How big are the prints? Would a ring binder & clear plastic inserts for paper work?

Most of the time, the prints I give away are A4. If they're to be handed over in person, they go in clear sleeves which come from WHSmith whenever I see them on special offer (I also use these sleeves to store/display holiday shots - I prefer to show people 20 or so decent sized prints than 100s of screen based shots.) If they're to be posted, I use cardboard backed envelopes and buy these when I see them on special offer. Either system can take about 10 280gsm sheets - if I have more than that to give away or send, I use the boxes that Ilford package their 25 sheet packs of Galerie paper in or the sleeves that Avery use for some of their labels - basically whatever container I can find that fits them!

I store my A4, A3 and A3+ prints in prat pampa and itoya proflio 'books' from portfolioplus.
I can't comment ons ending them though.
