Hi all

Looking to get a new monitor to replace my ageing ACER and have been trying to find one that has a wider colour Gamut than my old one which could only display 99% of sRGB, so looking for something that will handle images in Adobe1998 colour space

So the question is how do I find out what the monitor will display, as when I checked on the likes of ACER and Dell's websites they do not mention colour space, is there something in "Monitor Speak" that means colour space and gamut.

Thanks for any help with this

Dell mention it, you want any of their monitors that include "PremierColour" which is 100% of Adobe RGB and sRGB

I have a couple of Dell UP2716D monitors, they are superb, and don't have a glossy screen :)

they are 100% Adobe RGB and 100% sRGB as well as two new colour spaces: 100% REC 709 and 98% DCI-P3 and they come calibrated with their own charts. Well worth that little bit extra.
