Here is one I did along time ago:

I got my girlfriend to stand in a dark room, set my camera to a 30 second exposure, and traced around her with an LED light.

What type oe light source did you use how bright does it have to be

Playing and experimentation is the most important thing for me when it comes to light painting

This was done with my flash gun and different colours of plastic from drinks bottles

Done as with orbs only with a sparkler for the light source
