How do i save an image in LR5?????

Had LR5 for a week or two now, and have had a play etc.
What i specifically want to know is how can i save an edited image?
I know when i do some processing on an image it'll save any changes i've made to it, but what i want to know is can i save a file like in PS elements.
In elements when i've edited an image i can click save and it'll save the file in my pictures on my laptops drive. In LR (as far as i know!) it just saves it in the lightroom catalogue!
I usually use google to help me out but i can't find an answer to this question!

You need to "Export" it, when you do this a box will pop up and give you an option where to export to, the great think in LR is you can go back to this image and scroll back to any point in the editing history.
Export is in the "File" menu
