How do i get this type of result?

Looks to me like a flash (not builtin) has been used to make the subjects stand out from BG. Was that what you were referring to? Or was it post processing? Can't see much else that has been done ...

well, i'm not sure, just the tones in it look completely different to any pics i can do, and not sure if its photoshopped...

Do u use an onboard flash or flashgun? do u angle flash at the ceiling?

at the moment, just an onboard flash, but will be getting a flash gun soon

Well thats how its done, aim the flash at the ceiling to get a more natural light.
Test it yourself when u get a flash... take a shot with the flash pointing at the subject.. and a shot bounced...

Bounced flash should do the popping.

Looks like a blueish tone to it too. Could be with White balance or a preset from an editing program like lightroom.

Looks like some basic split toning, which you can do in most image editing software.

Purple in the shadows and maybe a bit of orange in the highlights.
