how do i do a montage of images

Hi everyone

In photoshop how do you do a montage. Think its called a montage anyway?

I want one large photo and I want to put three smaller photos along the bottom of the photograph. Any ideas. Hope this makes sense.

Create or resize the canvas size, add additional (suitably resized) photo's using layers. that ought to do it...
 
You can simply drag the other photo's onto the background image. Photoshop (CS3) will automaticaly make a layer for them. Now only problem is if they are the same size as your background image, they will mask it. Now you can solve this in 2 ways.
1/Resize the images you want to be smaller
2/Select the layer the secondary image is on. Select all ( Ctrl A) and the select Free Transform ( Ctrl T). Grab one of the corners and simply drag and shrink the image to the correct size.
Repeat with each image.

Done.
