how do i achieve this kind of image?

Hi and welcome to TP.

As the photographers copyright details are clearly visible on the image (does he know you are using it) I would contact him and ask what he did

He might have used a coloured filter or added a filter/action of some kind in post processing, looks like a pinky/sepia overlay and slightly reduce saturation to me but that is purely a guess

As this picture is on his tumbler and the OP is not using it for any profitable or promotion purpose and is merely asking a question on the quality of their work I'm sure there should be no problem in them using it!

We are going a bit off topic here but what is tumbler/tumblr - somewhere you give away pictures?
