Dark patterns :- Today's modern equivalent of the "old" subliminal adverts.
And there we have it, an advert for a VPN.
At least that wasn't "dark" or was it?
Who knows what's hidden in there ;)

At least that civilized, i remember the original dial up days,click the wrong place on what looked like a respectable site and porn pages would load faster than you could close them down, i kept the telephone plug handy and just unplugged it.

Just tried to follow the information in the video to get to the "delete my account" on Amazon - guess what - they have changed the location of the delete my account selection -

Prime and more - update account information - delete account

Simply coded pages, low res images with large fonts for a small amount of text and bright colours. It was easy to build very small web pages that loaded quickly if you did it by hand instead of using dreamweaver or similar.
