Was reccomended to use them by a friend of my brothers for their cheap prices.
3 filters for £15 sounded like a bargain!:|
Moral of the story; don't cheap out on filters:lol:

Yeah...once I bought a lens with 'soften and desaturation' filter thrown in :/

Not all cheap ones are bad though. I got a CPL from DealExtreme which was about 70% good.

What filters were used for these photos? None of the 4 photos above look good so it's hard to tell how bad the filter actually is especially without knowing what the filter is meant to do.

Yeh, they're not fantastic as it was a random thought after having some beans on toast. With my Tamron 70-300mm lens. Filter's a 62mm circular polariser.

So you've used a fairly basic camera with a basic lens and cheap filter and taken a photo of the remains of your dinner and what looks like the back of your sofa and you consider that to be a good test?

How about getting out on a sunny day where a polariser is meant to be used.
