Hi Guys,

Just looking for some comments and Crits on how I can improve on my PP in Lightroom 3 beta

There's really nothing of particular interest in the shot and it does look like you over exposed in the edit
 
I have to agree that there is no focal point. It would have looked better down really low I think. I would suggest somewhere in the middle for exposure may have worked!

Ryan - it depends on what sort of thing you're after.
I duplicated the layer tweaked the curves on both layers and the saturation on the sky and then removed the ground from the top layer to expose the ground on the layer below.

Is it any better? well I think the sky has a bit more depth now but I guess that’s all down to personal taste:)

Apart from the pictorial qualities which have already been commented on, you may want to try adding a graduated exposure adjustment to the foreground in LR when lightning it so as to leave the sky with more depth.
 
Thanks alot guys i'm taking all this onboard :)

Hopefully I'll get out at the weekend again to work on my composition :cool:
