How can i cut an image into two? Photo book ?

I want to do a photo book of my work for this year, i have a couple of Pano photos that dont look right if sized down to fit on one page, i cannot make an image span over two pages as online photo book software dont allow me, was told to cut it into two images and put both halfs on seperate pages.

Whats the best way i can do this?

Open original pano
Crop the right hand half and save it as RH
Open original pano
Crop the left hand half and save it as LH

Wasn't to sure if there where a button in any of the software that would do it for me, but i dont think i can get that wrong can i

I found that rather than cutting the image into two pieces it was easier to put the full photo into both pages and then adjust the positioning of each photo within its frame. This was with Blurb. Also needed to allow a small amount in between for the binding.

Which photobook are you using. It's quite easy to spread a pano over 2 pages in Blurb...
