Open your loft hatch! - works a treat :thumbs: - allows heat build up in your loft (which is keeping your house hot) to escape ... Paul ;)
 
hmm cool!

i like to go and stand in the freezer isles of local supermarkets, not cos its cold, but cos all the lovely ladies in summer cloths have to go in that isle, and they get VERY cold....
 
My loft hatch has been open for about 3 weeks and if you stand near it you can feel a breeze as all the hot air rushes up into the loft, and it does make the house a bit cooler and keeps a better air flow.
 
good advice...hmm..maybe not for the ladies in the freezer department tho....mind you it is SOOO refreshing there! ;)

i will try that as i'm working nights and have sleep in this heat. I wake up every couple of hours, its a bloody nightmare
 
Also try sleeping with just the duvet cover and no duvet inside it.
 
we got a single sheet for the hot weather, will try the loft hatch tip though tonight...wont mention about all the big hairy-assed spiders that live up there though
 
why do u even need a sheet?

Yeah it's way cooler than with the duvet in it and i don't own a single sheet. :p
 
I tried the loft hatch trick the other night, it did seem to work, but had to remember to keep ducking (as it hangs down on hinges) which in the dark in the middle of the night I forgot to do :bonk: ouch.

I slept better though :D

Too frickin' right! If I could remove a few layers of skin I'd do it never mind having sheets over me :nuts:
