Edit My Images
No
I think I have 2 small hot pixels that appear every time I take a shot. Even with an ISO as low as 64, which I thought they would be more visible with a higher ISO. Also with some fast shutter speeds they appear too.

I feel it's not very professional to have these on my images. I can edit them out with software but I feel dissapointed and notice them all the time.

Is this common? I have a Fuji S5500

I have one on my D40x, and it is apprently relatively common to have 1 or 2. Not much you can do about them, apart from as you say edit them out.

If your camera has a noise cancelling function that will remove them on long exposures.

Last time I looked this stuff up (ages ago) you could send the camera (canon in my case) in for service and they can 'map out' the hot pixels. They do that anyway when they make a new camera. Any new ones after that or ones they missed are what you see now. Olympus let you map new ones out yourself but I don't think any other make does.

Thanks for the download link it's helpful :)

Can't I download something to install on the S5500 Firmware itself to remove these hot pixels
