Hi,

I don't often venture into this section, but I am thinking of going to some Horse Trials this weekend and wondered if anyone had some advice for me.
Its going to be fence jumping (show jumping) in the grounds of a Stately Home, and I thought it might be quite picturesque.
I've only taken shots of horses a couple of times for a friend (see pics) below, and wondered what advice I should be aware of before shooting them again.
I realize, I think, that the timing is important, ie the moment the horses hind legs are leaving the floor, and I am hoping to minimize background distractions, with some nice backdrops and scenery.
Any advice or pointers would be most appreciated.
Thanks
