Started it in lockdown and just got round to finishing it, wow what a game, very dark look on mankinds future.
Anyone played it?

I've played it on the PS4, good game with an excellent narrative.
 
I completed it a few weeks ago. Then re-played New Game+ with a £500 2080 Ti I bought during everyone's panic sale after 3080 announcement. Everything on maximum and 1.5x super sampling.

Excellent game, combat is very rewarding, RPG elements is just the right amount, stealth also works great.

Not sure about the story, they've probably pitched "bow+arrow vs robot dinosaur" before coming up with the storyline. I'm more interested in Sylens character than the backstory.
 
I imagine it’s starting the game over but with the level and perks/skills you finished the original game with.

You set a loadout configuration from main game. Then when you start, you start after the kid tutorials straight into the main story with the proving.
You can buy Adaptive versions of the weapons, where you can put 4 modifications.

Make sure you play the Frozen Wilds DLC, comes with the complete edition of all PC versions. The new monsters dials combat to 11.

i actually completed the frozen wilds before the main game, i got the whole game with all the DLC and wandered into it mid way, i then wandered back to complete the main game.
 
Oh, didn't know it was out.

Will be heading to download it right now though!

it is very good matey, possibly for me one of the best games for years.
highly addictive if a bit repetitive at times.
as folk have said make sure you get the frozen wilds DLC preferably from the start as you can just wander from the main game into this and back again seemlessly.
 
I’ve been playing this for a few days now on PS4 Pro. Didn’t like it too much to start with but once I got the hang of the combat it really clicked with me. Really enjoying it now, just wandering around doing side quests and enjoying the scenery. It’s a stunning looking game.

I just bought the Complete Edition on CDKeys for £23 :)
 
Bought during lockdown on ps4, great game with great visuals. Looking forward to the follow up on the ps5, Horizon Forbidden West, that looks stunning!
 
The DLC bows are the best. Make the main game really easy. I completed game on Easy first time, then did the DLC and got all DLC weapons. Then started New Game+ on Hard with DLC weapons and breezed through the main campaign.

yeah that is why i am hesitant to do new game+
i might just restart and replay from scratch with the knowledge of the stuff
i also want to try and get the super armour did you manage that?
