With the new lockdown, i hope to be able to collect my items from Argos today i paid yesterday, i couldn't work out the actual start time
 
Looks like i found my answer

In England - from Tuesday 5 January, you can collect pre-paid online orders from Argos stores within a Sainsbury's supermarket or outside an Argos store.
 
Well it works just collected my goods.
 
I know the rules are different here [Ireland] and they keep changing all the time but apart from the earliest lock down [before we had specific levels] Argos has remained open for click'n'collect [allowing 4 max in the store here at a time to use the self service check ins]. Good job too as I was running out of time for a few extras just before Christmas, grabbed a few bits from there on the 23rd - they're still running now, also good job as I need mud-guards for my bike!
 
my car is booked in for a service and MOT on wednesday, the garage is only 400 metres up the road, i shall walk up later and ask if it is still on.
