I know it does not look the part but it seems to have worked, just need to get a reflector on the other side now and see what happens.

Flash is a SB-600

Lined the inside with tin foil, outside is greaseproof paper!

First image with it straight out the box no PP? needs sharpened but you get the idea




Would be interested to hear any comments
 
Not elegant to look at, but interested to see some more results after a bit of practice! Maybe a with SB and without?

I've done something like this, but mine's more like a mini strip light.

Lined the inside with tin foil and crumpled it up then put flat so that the light bounces around inside

I like my homemade softbox I just wish it was more portable :(
