Home Grown - A Project by Carl

Just AAMOI:- forget Asda for veggie seeds etc and go to Wliko...quite a variety of seed potatoes but all I knew was Maris piper but took a gamble on Nikola o_O Carrot seeds 25p and 50p and tomatoes money maker and gardeners delight..50p and 75p, some others I didn't recognise.
Also the picollo tomatoes in Tesco are tasty so will take the seeds out.

Just a heads up for the lovely Piccollo tomatoes at Tesco:- With 6 tomatoes you will have a stack of seeds but they are sticky to separate and handle (maybe I should have soaked them in water) so put them as best as I can in a seed tray and after about a week they are all coming up erm now to try and separate them

Time to plant your onions folks for harvest about next May.....quite a few nurseries where I live and was looking for RADAR which supposed to extra VG for a cold winter anyway all this nursery had was Senshyu yellow so better than nothing bought 50 sets at £2.49, anyway went to the next one and they had paper bags of autumn onions (1/2 kilo or Ib) for £2.50 and nothing written to what they were, so asked the guy what variety they were......he was so helpful and spent about 5 mins finding out, and said "Senshyu yellow" o_O and felt obliged to buy them.
100 onions to plant out WTF done 50 so far.
