Fell off at the lights once when he forgot he was on the 750 and not his more usual Monza... couldn't reach the ground

:lol:

... not the worst, he couldn't get the bike back up... passing police car stopped to help. Within 10 minutes (he was on his way to work at the time) most of Wales knew about the "incident"... he worked in ambulance control :naughty:

:lol::lol::lol:

Bad enough dropping the bike, but not getting it back up is tragic... made even worse by having a high profile job :lol: :lol:

Cheers for that Arthur, you've made my morning at work bearable now :p

hey, they were damned heavy, those kettles... solid too. Another nutcase mate of mine had one, and ran into the back of a reliant robin van. Admittedly not te most solid thing, but he ended up sat in the back of the van spitting out fibreglass from the roof. Bike lifted the rear end of the plastic pig off the ground bent the forks a couple of inches back, and that was pretty much it as far as damage on the bike. Reliant was almost cut in half :lol: I was first on the scene, and the look on the 2 old giffers in the robin was priceless, as was Billy's sat in the back scraping his tongue to get rid of the glass-matting :lol:

I met a guy on Guernsey who told me that he had gotten fined £100 and banned from driving for a month for going from 0 - 40 in 6 seconds with a horsebox on the back in Landrover 90! Too bad he decided to do it when there was a Police car halfway down the street, they were not amused and said he was a 'traffic hazard'. I would have actually laughed if I had seen that.

Time to bring this thread back on track :lol: :lol:

Looking to buy the kit in the next week or 2 (as funds allow) ready for spending more time at home as winter slowly comes around.

I know its not much of an update but still, I'm excited :D
