Holga 120 Neg Photographed With Canon 5D

Just flicking around Flickr, I found details of how to digitise your negs. So I did...



Basically I had a piece of white perspex balanced with a spotlight underneath. Turned off all the lights, and used my 17-40 lens (because it was on the camera) to take a pic. The neg was curved, so had to crop a little in Photoshop.

I'm really enjoying this lo-fi photography stuff!

Well that turned out fair enough.
Hard to tell whether the holga produced the blurry edges, or bent film.
I used a piece of black plastic with a 6x6 hole cut in it to keep the film flat and mask off stray light.

that image has a tilt shifty quality to it btw, and thinking about it, its probably bent film........forget the plastic
