have you disconnected them from the mains? if not do so!!!!!!
 
Lencarta will no doubt swap that light tomorrow. The cable you have with the kit is called a sync lead and it is just a switch lead. Try plugging the other light in and pressing the test button. If it fires plug the sync lead in and connect that to the camera and it should fire. It sounds like a single faulty head.

BUT

before you do that what are you plugging the other end of the sync lead into ?

The wireless trigger won't turn on with batteries so that's faulty too!!!
I'm off to see Garry Tuesday but will have to go tomoz now by looks of it

flick all the channel switches on then off again and try again sometimes they get a nudge and cause a problem - happens all the time.

If you can nip and see Garry tomorrow then that will sort the problem out completely. As I have said numerous times before even the best kit can break or be faulty on delivery but it is HOW the faults are dealt with which is the mark of a decent company. I am sure that it will be sorted!
