Well I've been using an old Canon 300D for years now and it still produces great pics as some have seen on here ;)

But a 1/2 yr bonus from work has landed in my account and I thought what the hell.

So I've lost a 0 and gained a better camera.

Canon 300D -> Canon 30D....

:D

And I have a week off work to go play with it :woot:

*note Nikon / Canon Bashers can not comment on the make, thankyaverymuch* :nono:

So let me get this right. You scratched a zero off the casing :thinking: thats a crazy way of getting an upgrade.

They actually do a model 30D and with that bonus you say you got you may be able to afford one.

Thx, Indeed, I've spent the afternoon at work reading the manual and as I've just bought the body only I can't use it until I get home lol ;)

I may start taking pictures like your good self as you've had a 30D for a while now. Just need to save up and get myself a 24-70 sigma and I'll be even happier !
 
Congratulations on the purchase :clap: I moved up to a 30D from a 400D and was amazed just how much better / nicer is all round :thumbs:

Haha :p Puz was always an inspiration back in the good old days of OcUK. He still takes a great photo and hopefully more with the 30D :)
