Would just like to take this opportunity to say a quick hello!

I am originally from Cornwall (hence the forum name) but work, travels and life has taken me all over the world. Am currently living in Germany.

Am a total amateur, bought a D40 9 months ago and now on a D90. I am at last out of the scene modes, with moderate success, and currently snapping anything that moves.... as long as it does not move too fast!

If you compare the house prices - I would say yes!, although you cannot beat Blighty for the diverse scenery and landscapes (in my opinion).
