Hi there! I'm new to this forum and kind of nervous!
My reasons for joining this site is because I believe I lost my love for photography and I want to re-ignite that flame I had! Sadly, my two years studying photography in college left me feeling doubtful and negative about my work. I got good grades and tutors were supportive but I felt I barely learnt a thing in my time! Our classes weren't as practical as I'd like and I learnt everything I know using a college camera which was a Nikon and I have a Canon 550D. When I took my camera in college the tutors were unfamiliar with it and couldn't help me out.

Sorry, this introduction makes me seem very glum but I promise I'm not! :D

I know how you feel, there are lots of us that have those days but here on TP, there is plenty of community support to pick you right up

Have a look in the Challenges section, there are all sorts of different challenges in there that will help you get your spirit back :D
 
We're a really friendly bunch round here so there is no need to be nervous and there are some seriously talented photographers that are more than happy to help where they can....okay some of use are a little nuts :cuckoo: but it's the good type of nuts...we love to have a bit of a laugh and a joke...

So please pull up a chair..take a look around and don't be afraid to look around ask question and certainly learn some stuff...TP has made many including myself the photographers we are today :woot:

Thank you guys! I really appreciate it. It seems so much more friendlier here than any other forum I have used.

I will defiantly have a look around and see what the challenges are like.
