Hi, I am a little confused about where the hitech ND filters (looking at the prostop range) will fit in the lee 2mm slots or whether I need to get some bigger 4mm slots? Could someone clarify? I could do with something between 5 (2 and 3 stop stacked) and 10 stops (my big stopper is more like 11...) and lee don't seem to offer it sadly.

Note: for some reason I put grad in the title and shouldn't have done incase that confuses. Not sure I can change the title

I also have 3 x Hitech Grad ND filters that fit into my Lee holders.

The hitech filters will fit ok in the lee holder. I have a hitech 0.9 reverse nd grad which I use in mine. The new hitech IR range filters are very good imo. I had the 10 stop version before my big stopper arrived & it performed quite similar to the big stopper.

Thanks Tom - was that with a 4mm or 2mm slot?

I got my lee holder as part of the starter kit so I didn't get thr 4mm slots and would need to buy some. Not a problem - but would need to know so I could purchase some at the same time as the filter!

That's with the 2mm slots. The hitech filters are slightly thinner if anything

Cheers t

How about the Glass IR range - 2mm as well (looking at teamworks they are very expensive..!)

Thanks for the replys all - I'm still a little confused as I look at the hitech site and they say they do special versions of the glass ND filters with a smaller gasket to fit the lee holder but team works photo doesn't specify whether the ones they sell are the standard or lee holder versions

i'm still searching for a definitive answer no one seems to know whether the prostop INRD ones with gasket will fit the lee 2mm slots?

Andrew, don't know if you resolved this but when I ordered my 10 stop from hitech they sent me an email asking which holder I was using, so they could make the correct thickness of seal.

They were pretty helpful. Suggest you give them a call and talk to them what holder you are using as you order.
