Sorry for the cheesy Pat Benetar reference - but in case people have missed the thread in "photos from film" - I've opened a "Best of 2011 in film" thread ... problem is, there's only a good picture from Scott in there, plus my pipe-opener, and it looks a bit sparse... come on people - there's some amazing talent in here, and I'd really love to see my "spiritual home" on TP make a good showing :)

I haven't developed several rolls, and of the ones I have developed I haven't scanned a large number of them! :(

Will do Mark.. but I've three rolls still to get developed from last week and about six still to scan from summer! The eternal optimist in me says to wait before deciding which is the best shot!

no worries - it's stickied, and will remain so for (probably) a couple of months or so, but I just didn't want it to look like some sort of ego trip for me, opening the thread and being one of the 2 shots in there... fortunately, theres some good pictures now posted to counteract my mediocre efforts

I'll post up in there, even though I shot *****..:D

My humble effort is in :)

I am just scanning in a couple of rolls from my Brother's wedding and will make a choice after that! The early signs are that HP5+ @1600 in rodinal 1:25 is better that neopan 1600 in Ilfosol 3 though..

Mines in and it was taken today!.

Well I've taken many that I like with a memory or whatever attached to them, but the problem is choosing ones that can stand on their own that the forum would like ;) ....shots e.g. a tin can in a road or edge of a building etc etc I would consider a waste of film

Mine's in too! I am just getting used to using my M2, I sold my Voigtlander Bessa R2a as I had the M2 and thought why? I still have my Bessa R for my screw mount lenses as although I have a Leica IIIc and a Leica 1 I love the simplicity and amazingly clear rangefinder of the modern Bessa R!
