Historic POTY awards shortlisting

After a crappy week it's nice to see this morning that an image I took in Uzbekistan a couple of months ago has been shortlisted in the Historic POTY awards.

The Shah-I-Zinda mausoleum is stunning to walk around and you can spend hours there. I got to visit twice and this was from the second visit.

It is an absolutely amazing country. I was VERY lucky to be able to do what I did when I was and probably saw a very different side to what normal tourists see.

I'd had the competition on my radar for a while and entered not long before it closed. But I didn't get anything notification of the shortlisting I found it by chance.
