Hi

I know there is a guy on here (Stewart I think?) who has a lens hiring business and people have recommended him before - what's the site?

I am on 2nd shooter duties for a wedding in 6 weeks and I'd like to hire the Canon 70-200 2.8 IS to make sure I get some awesome shots!

Also, my camera is a 500D - will that lens be OK on that body?

I think the site you're looking for is lenses for hire,I highly recommend them as I'm sure many others on here will.

I doubt you'll find anyone who's got anything bad to say about them. I hired a 70-200 2.8, the only issue I had was giving it back :D

Yes, that is a problem. I've hired the 300 f2.8 a few times, now I really hate giving it back ! I may be after a 500 f4 this week :lol:
