On my consider list at the moment...

- How long does it take you to set up then pack up?
- Does the material mark or dent easily?
- I will be keeping mine stored most of the time, maybe only using every other week, will material crease?
- On the 7x6 or 8x7 one, how many average adults can you get in a line and in rows of 2?

Thanks in advance

Personally Simon, I have the 7x5 and the 7x6.

I dont find that it marks easily, its easy and quick to setup and pack away, when you get the hang of it. Its frustrating to start with, you are best watching a few clips from Lastolite, as they make it look so easy

They are very stretchy, so mine havent lost their shape at all, they spend a lot of time in storage too :)

They are awesome, would highly recommend

Hope this helps

Neil

Hi, Once you've set it up and broke it down a few times you'll find it very quick to do "5 mins" tops.

I've stored mine for much longer than two weeks without use with no problems with creasing whatsoever.

I would suggest you get the floor apron as well, it is very useful and wipes clean easily.

As for the amount of people you can get in front of it would be very easy to estimate in front of a wall etc before you buy.

Hope this helps.

.

In my experience this is completely true. Until you're in front of a client who is watching you make a right hash of putting it down!

Yes my experience too, the Hi-lite just doesn't like being put away in front of clients :D

Take me a few minutes to put up, then i just put 2 smartflash 200's either side, another few minutes, it doesn't mark easily, i don't recall ever having to wipe mine down, once it's up their are no creases that i can see, and once the lights are on the fan from the lights seem to blow it out anyway, as regards rows of people here you go. Oh yes and my 8x7 is still for sale in the classifieds :D

5 mins to put up without any lights, 5 mins to put it down and pack it away - and that's in front of clients.

I've had about 18 on my 6x7 during a recent event - with a bit of PP to clean up the overspill ;-) (Never again lol!!)

Is that the 8x7 in this pic??

Am considering that but more tempted by the 7x6. Just ran a tape across my lounge (newish build house) and am not sure i would be able to fit the lights in if 8ft wide, and 8ft would probably not fit height wise. Can see the 7x6 being more useable really would like a 7x7 lol!!!

Yes it is, i've used it in quite small places, you just need to stand the feet of the light stands more upright, instead of spreading them apart, then the lights fit in ok, well the smartflashs do anyway, you can also light it with 2 speedlights, although i've never done this myself.
