Yes
I took 9 images when crossing the High Alps a couple of weeks ago and have merged them into a panorama...

Now, for some reason I seem to have taken them at ISO 1600 instead of ISO 100 which has made the finished article very grainy.

I use Lightroom and Photoshop and have reduced the noise as much as I know how using the sliders in Lightroom, but wondered whether there is anything else I can do to improve the grain?

Lightroom does a fair job but is there anything better?

Thanks in advance.

Neat Image or Noise Ninja?

I used NI in my 20D days, and it was very good.

Sorry cant help with the noise reduction but... my god thats a quality image! An absolutely brilliant example of a panoramic! :)

Thank you, appreciate your comments :)

To be honest, I find LR3 does just as good a job as any other noise reduction software out there.

Nice shot - What did you use to merge the panorama ?

PS

Noiseware Community Edition (free download) does a good job.

Update to Lightroom 3, or download a free trial of Topaz Denoise.....?

I hadn't realised Lightroom had a '3' as it hasn't come through as an update , I'll have a look at it thanks :)

Looking forward to trying it :)

Just the photomerge facility in Pshop CS4, its really easy to use tbh, the photos are all taken with the same manual exposure and manual focus, in my case all hand held and Pshop does the rest - no skill required at all ;)

is it just me or do those blues and green look a bit oversaturated?
