Hidden eBay £1 selling fees

I want to sell my X-H1 and have been waiting for notification of £1 selling fees in my inbox. Hadn’t had any for ages and did a bit of research. I checked ‘My eBay’ and ‘selling’ and under ‘selling promotions’ there is was - 1-4 October £1 max selling fees. Just thought it was worth sharing for anyone waiting. Might be worth checking!

I have two accounts - and they both have 80 percent off variable fees at the moment - excluding something they call a 30p transaction fee. They do seem to target the offers a bit these days rather than just having a free for all blanket offer for everyone.

You should get an email notification from eBay when they give you a promotional offer. I've also got the £1 offer, and got notified both via email and my a message in My eBay. Hotukdeals is also a good site to keep an eye out for eBay promotions. They will normally be listed on there - you might not be eligible for all, but can then at least have a prompter to check.
