Hi I'm Amey, an obsessive tea-drinking, fashion/beauty blogger with a large passion for photography. I've had an interest in photography from a very young age as my dad had an Olympus OM10 (which I now may or may not have in my possession...
) which he used all the time with a variety of lenses. Currently I shoot with a Canon 400d which does me fine at the moment. Eventually I will upgrade, but I'm still waiting on money to grow on trees first.
I shoot both digital and film. Personally, I prefer film as I love the surprise of not knowing what images you have produced. There is just something magical about it. I tend to shoot more portraits than anything else, particularly animals (it helps when your parents have an extremely photogenic dog) but I will try my hand at any subject.
In addition, I also collect cameras as a hobby. Ideally I prefer them if I can run a film through them as I like to see what they produce. If not, they look pretty in my living room. My mum is probably the worst person for adding more to my collection - she's probably located around 25% of my collection (but I love her for it

Believe it or not, I've been lurking on here for just over a week. Everyone on here comes across as friendly, knowledgeable and eager to help others, which I really admire. There is also some amazing talent here too - some absolutely breathtaking images. I'm looking forward to (maybe) posting some images at some point as I could probably do with some constructive criticism.
