Hi there, I am a middle aged lady who is new to the forum.
Hoping to ‘meet’ new photography friends that I can learn from and enjoy sharing photos with.
I started out about about 35 years ago with an Olympus OM10, mainly taking photos at air shows. Eventually the cost of film and developing got rather expensive and for many years I didn’t take any photos at all.
I eventually dipped my toe into the digital waters, buying a Canon 300D from a work colleague. I eventually swapped to a 40D and then about a year ago upgraded to my 7D, which I love.
Hoping always shot using either Aperture Priority or Shutter Priority (or fully manual on odd occasions) I am hoping to improve my skills and learn from you all.
I especially enjoy shooting anything aviation related (but particularly older aircraft and light aircraft), landscape and seascapes.

Hi Nikki and welcome to TP

As you may already have noticed, there are many sub fora covering specific camera brands and various aspects of post processing et al.

Furthermore, covering all(?) genre of photography.

So enjoy yourself hereabouts and don't forget that there is no such thing as a daft question.......though do try the forum search as an initial step just in case a similar question had been asked & answered already ;)

PS do post some of your airshow imagery......it has been way too long since I went to one.
