Just would like to say hello from Sunny Bristol (well it is now at least!). I've been pointed here from a watch forum and it seems to be a knowledgeable crowd.
I've been interested in photography for a few years now, having been bought an Olympus OM10 for my 16th birthday (about 23 years ago). I moved to an EOS 350 SLR (a 'cheats' camera to be fair at about 21) then moved to point and shoots (Canon Ixus 50, finishing with a Canon G7, which I'm currently using) until this year when I decided I should get a proper (!) camera. I seem to have regressed from total control to a little bit!!
This decsision was based on the fact that my Kids (4 and 1) are moving about a lot more now and the shuter lag on the G7 is doing my head in!!
Favourite at the moment is the Canon 450D.
If someone could point me in the direction of some tips to capture kids with a G7 then that decision may be reversed!!
If someone has a 450D for sale then I'm happy to listen to reasons to have a 450D!!!!!
