Hi there,

My name is Deb and I am a new member to this site.

I have a 10 year old daugher, Josie, who is a keen ballroom and latin american dancer.

I have 5 dogs and 2 ferrets, all of which we race and show throughout the year

About a year ago I treated myself to a Nikon D40, but to date, all the pics I take are on the auto settings.

I am hoping to be able to learn alot more about what I can do with my camera.

Hi Deb welcome to the forums.

Just a quick note that the current size limit for posting photos into threads on here is 800 pixels on the longest side. I have turned the ones that were bigger than this, in your post above, into links. Feel free to turn them back into actual photos if/when you decide to resize them
