Hi

Recently signed up and already spent farrrrrrr too much time reading through the various forums for my GF liking...;)

Did quite a bit of damage 20+ years ago (to my marriage) with a Minolta AF SLR and have recently picked up the bug again!!

I am a member of various watch forums and regularly photograph my new pieces to post for all to see...must say that some have turned out ok and others maybe not so good...:shake:

Anyhow enough for now....plenty more reading to do :cool:

Hi Steve and a warm welcome to TP and look forward to seeing some of your images :thumbs: I have an old working Seiko Chronograph myself which the last time I checked out was worth a few bob. I am wanting to sell it so maybe you could advise me which would be a good trusted watch forum to advertise it on.

Thank you for the welcome....you live in a lovely part of Spain. Just outside Valencia if I'm right. I had a place about 70k south of you near Benissa. Lovely part of the world.

That's right Steve, I am about 40km North East of Valencia. You still got your place out here? I love it, moved out about 18 months ago. Wild horses wouldn't drag me back to the UK!!

Unfortunately not Sara! .....sold just before the collapse in 2007 and the reason being that was from a forma life if you know what I mean..:D

Stunning area to be and maybe I will get the opportunity to be out there again in the not too distant future.

Do you get plenty of subject matter for great shots?
 
You sold at the right time then, when the market was pretty high.

To be honest, I rarely get out with the camera, much prefer astrophotography these days. As a result I've probably taken less than 100 daylight images for all of 2011!! There's lots around though, and Valencia is a great place.
