Hi I am Suzanne and I have just bought a dslr (canon 450D) after dreaming of having a decent camera for years :D Unfortunatley I have no idea how to get the best out of it :lol: I do apologise if I mainly lurk but hopefully I will learn alot from the forum as I do love my camera and am looking forward to getting some fab shots from it :)

You will find lots of friendly people here and plenty of advice.
There is also a good chance that there are other members in your area and you will be able to meet up and do some photography meetings.
Don't be afraid to ask, unlike most hobbies the experienced members are happy to help with questions and advice.
Put the kettle and pull up a chair :)
 
Hi Suzy. Welcome to TP. The 450D is a great camera and will give brilliant results once you get the hang of it with practice and with asking loads of questions on here. looking forward to seeing your first pics :thumbs:
