Hi-Key (?) product shots on a budget of...

I'm after any hints on the best way of getting the bright white "invisible" background for small product shots.

This is purely for the 2012 52 challenge thing so I don't really want to be spending any money.

If anyone has any tips on the best way of getting decent results using household objects then I'd love to hear them.

how about making your own light tent with a cardboard box - just line the inside with white card, cut a whole to shine a light/flash through?

That doesn't sound like a bad plan, it's so Blue Peter-ish it might just work...

roll of white poster paper (£1 from wilkos), and a few desk lamps. Camera on tripod.
